Applies to: Version control, document management, keeping the AI up to date
Every document you upload to Avoice has built-in version control. When you upload a new version of a file, Avoice tracks it so that the AI always references the most recent version in your Library.
What you need to do:
Upload the updated document to your Library as a new version rather than as a separate file. This keeps the version history linked and ensures the AI knows which version is current.
When you attach a file from the Library into a chat, the AI will automatically pull from the latest version available.
Tips:
Avoid keeping multiple copies of the same document under different names — this can cause confusion about which version is current.
If you've recently uploaded a new version, give it a moment to finish processing before starting a new chat (the same processing time as described above applies).
